Best Practices for Near Water

  • Swim lessons for parents and toddlers are a first step for water safety.
  • Never leave children unsupervised, including in a baby pool or bathtub.
  • Keep children within arm’s length while they are in water.
  • Only swim in water that has lifeguards.
