Application Process & Timeline
Applications for the 2026 cohort are due by October 1, 2025, though we encourage early submissions as review begins July 2025. Only complete applications will be considered.
Required documents include:
- Universal Fellowship Application (link)
- Personal Statement
- USMLE Score Reports (Steps 1, 2, & 3; completion of Step 3 required)
- Medical School Transcripts
- Current CV
- Dean’s Letter (MSPE)
- Personal Statement
- Three Letters of Recommendation (one must be from residency program director)
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship, Green Card, or valid Visa
- Valid ECFMG Certificate with Clinical Skills Assessment
- Headshot photo

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must not be participating in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) in the U.S. or Canada and meet the following:
- Completed diagnostic radiology training in a residency program outside the U.S. or Canada
- Fulfilled medical training requirements in a non-U.S., non-Canadian country; applicants trained in India must have MBBS + DNB and/or MD
- Completed at least one year of clinical training
- Documentation verifying independent radiology practice or board certification in the country of training (if applicable)
Interview & Selection Process
Top applicants will be invited to virtual interviews with faculty from relevant divisions. Our selection committee evaluates each candidate’s clinical excellence, scholarly and research achievements, leadership, professional service, and potential contributions to radiology.
