  • Financial Analysis
  • Investigational Drug Services (2 weeks)
  • Sterile Compounding Compliance
  • Diversion management
  • Ambulatory or oncology or pediatric medication safety
  • Medication writing and publication
  • Smart pumps

Additional Required Activities

  • Greater than 90% of goals and objectives achieved (ACHR is conferred when the resident has achieved the objective at least twice or achieved once with at least two satisfactory improvements noted)
  • The remaining 10% must include at least one satisfactory improvement
  • Satisfactory completion of all assigned rotations
  • Completion of a research project
  • Completion of a manuscript for publication
  • Formal presentation and/or poster at an appropriate conference
  • Four formal internal presentations (grand rounds, faculty teaching, etc)
  • Four journal club presentations
  • Prepare or revise at least one drug class review, monograph, and guideline
  • Completion of one medication use evaluation
  • Completion of one performance improvement project
  • Facilitate at least one medication safety committee meeting
  • Facilitate at least one formulary/policy committee meeting
  • Completion of PGY2 required topics
  • Attendance at two required conferences (e.g. ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and identified opportunity if available)
  • Completion of a mentorship program
  • Completion of ASHP Medication Safety Certificate
