Professional Interests/Career Goals/Involvements: I am completing a PGY-2 to gain more experience and knowledge within the field of medication safety and policy to learn the intricate details behind the clinical involvement of pharmacists and healthcare as a whole. I hope to increase both my clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills while incorporating my current knowledge to the field of medication safety. After completion of my PGY-2 I hope to become board certified, obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, and become an editor for a pharmaceutical journal.
About Me: In my free time I enjoy reading books, playing video games, and shopping. I have recently gained an interest in running, and ran my first half-marathon in Key West earlier this year and have plans to run another later this year!

Professional Interests/Career Goals/Involvements: Stemming from experiences I had during my PGY-1, I have developed an interest in exploring medication safety and how pharmacists are integral to ensuring the medication use process provides patients with safe and effective care. In the short term, I want to gain more experience as a medication safety officer in an academic medical center where I also have the opportunity to teach residents and students. In the longer term, I can see myself branching out and exploring other avenues of medication safety and keeping myself up to date through ISMP and pharmacy organizations such as ASHP.
About Me: I love to cook and explore new flavors and ingredients. I also enjoy watching the latest Marvel movies.
