Internal Medicine Residency Features
- Hospital Medicine Service with Daily Attending Rounds: Interactive, collaborative, multidisciplinary teaching rounds
- Continuity Care Clinic: Ambulatory experience with a primary care preceptor focused on chronic disease management
- ICU Experience: Multidisciplinary intensive care training with clinical and didactic teaching led by a pulmonologist intensivist
- Simulation Curriculum: Hands-on practice with acute care scenarios and procedural skills using our on-site simulation lab
- POCUS Education: Bedside ultrasound training integrated into clinical and didactic experiences
- Electives at Tertiary Center (Optional): Opportunity to rotate at UH Cleveland Medical Cetner for additional subspecialty experience
- Daily Didactics: 100% attending presence with board-focused lectures and structured educational sessions
- Resident-as-Teacher: Residents design and deliver lectures, enhancing teaching skills and building their CV and presentation portfolio
- Scholarly Activity: Opportunities for poster presentations, case reports, publications and quality improvement projects
- Hospital and Program Committee Participation: Resident involvement in institutional and program-level decision-making
- Board Review Course Stipend: Financial support for a board review course of your choice
- Internal Medicine Board Review Resources: MKSAP access for PGY-1 to PGY-3 residents, and UWorld provided for PGY-2 and PGY-3
