Carmine Menna, MS-HSM
George Mason University
Carmine Menna comes to UH from Pittsburgh, PA. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Biological Sciences. After college, Carmine worked as a research specialist at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. In this role, he had the opportunity to partner with hospital leadership during the covid-19 pandemic, and seeing the community impact outcomes inspired him to pursue healthcare administration. Carmine recently completed his Master of Science in Health Systems Management at George Mason University. While completing his graduate program, Carmine interned at Three Rivers Alliance of Community Health Centers developing caregiver engagement, recruitment, and retention strategies. Carmine’s fellowship interests include strategic planning, financial management, and business operations. At UH, Carmine is looking forward to gaining experience within a large, academic health center and making meaningful connections with UH leaders, caregivers, and our fellowship alumni network.
Carmine is looking forward to exploring Cleveland and trying out the variety of new restaurants the city offers. Outside of work, he also enjoys cooking, baking, cycling, and the visual arts.

Chad Nash, MHA
University of Kentucky
Chad Nash holds a BA degree from Furman University in Health Sciences. Chad’s interest in healthcare begun with clinical career aspirations but grew to find his passion on the business side, working to make large scale health impact. Chad recently completed his Master of Healthcare Administration at the University of Kentucky. While completing his graduate program, Chad interned at Eastern State Hospital, where he was able to gain experience with behavioral health operations by supporting the deployment of a novel psychiatric acute crisis unit. Chad’s fellowship interests include strategic planning, financial analysis, and clinical service line operations. At UH Chad is looking forward to gaining experience in a wide variety of operations, leading projects, and making a meaningful impact on our patients and community.
Outside of work, Chad is looking forward to exploring Cleveland’s world of professional sports and restaurant scene. His other interests include golfing, pickleball, going to the gym, and spending time with friends and family.
