How to Get your Paper Published
Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
One of the major goals of clinical and translational researchers is to get their work published in quality, top-tier medical journals. The process of starting with an idea(s) and hypothesis(es), designing and executing a trial or investigation, and finally publishing results is quite complex. Investigators need to understand the publishing cycle that includes defining the purpose of the research, the implications of this work, and how to identify a target journal. At the conclusion of this presentation, an investigator will be able to navigate this process including understanding the different types of research and trials, and what journals to target.
