Michael A. Lewis

Michael A. Lewis is currently the President and CEO of Hometown Bank, a community-based bank in Portage County, Ohio. He holds a BA in Management from Malone College and is a graduate of the Stonier School of Banking. Throughout his 36-year career, Michael has held almost every job within the bank, which has allowed him to build a strong working relationship with employees across all levels of leadership and various departments.

This experience has also molded a philosophy of banking that is based on community and excellent customer service. Michael places a high emphasis on respecting your co-workers and the value of teamwork. In his capacity as President and CEO, Michael oversees all operations, compliance, technology, and security of the Bank.

Michael and his wife Monica are lifelong residents of Portage County, where they have raised their three children – Marlaina, Mitchell, and Mason. They both stay active in the local community, with Michael serving on several boards in various compacities. When he is not out serving his community, Michael enjoys a variety of sports or a movie night at home with the family.
