University Hospitals Community Health
Partnering with our communities to provide excellent, compassionate care, we are working to ensure everyone has a fair and just opportunity to attain their highest level of health.
Signature Initiatives
Our commitment to Community Health traces back to our founders, who pledged that “the most needy should be considered the most worthy.” That legacy continues today through a sustained focus on advancing health and opportunity for the communities we serve.
In 2024 alone, University Hospitals invested $720 million in community health initiatives. These resources are directed where they can make the greatest impact, guided by three priority areas:
Maternal & Child Health

Community Benefit
Through our Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNA), we’ve identified the greatest health needs among each of our hospital’s communities, enabling us to ensure our resources are appropriately directed toward outreach, prevention, education and wellness opportunities where the greatest impact can be realized.
Community Wellness Center Locations
Healing is at the core of our mission. Through a comprehensive approach to health and wellness, our Community Wellness Centers will offer better care, education and support resources to underserved communities adversely impacted by diseases, health disparities and socioeconomic barriers to optimal health.
