Jill joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland in 1978 as in intern in the legal department and advanced through a career of increasing responsibility, culminating in the position of Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Her responsibilities in that role included senior management responsibility for the bank’s legal, community affairs, and research library functions. She left the Federal Reserve in 1996 when her family relocated to the Pittsburgh area.
Jill received her B.A. from Denison University ’76 in English Literature, Sociology/Anthropology, and Education and her J.D., from Case Western Reserve University School of Law ’79.
Jill is an active community volunteer. In that role, she has pursued her passion for children’s health care, the arts and education. Her current affiliations include being on the Board of Directors of University Hospital Cleveland Medical Center (UHCMC); a member and the current Chair of the UHCMC Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital Board; a member and past President of the Rainbow Babies & Children’s Foundation Board of Trustees and a member and past Chair of the Cleveland International Piano Competition Board of Trustees. Prior Affiliations include being on the Board of Trustees for Denison University, 2011 – 2017; Ursuline College, 2002 – 2005; Gilmour Academy, 2007 – 2013; Gilmore International Keyboard Festival of Kalamazoo, Michigan, 2002 – 2005 and Trustee Emeritus, 2005 – present.
