Frequently Asked Questions

When do ECHO sessions take place?: ECHO sessions take place in the evening and typically last 75-90 minutes. We also offer occasional half day learning sessions.
What is the structure of an ECHO session?: Each session commences with introductions and announcements.

A subject matter expert delivers a didactic presentation.

A primary care participant presents a case, followed by clarifying questions and recommendations from both the SMEs and ECHO participants.

Each session concludes with final thoughts and an opportunity for questions.
What are the requirements for participation in a RainbowECHO program?: We kindly ask participants to consistently attend scheduled sessions, actively engage in case discussions, complete both pre- and post-series surveys, and, if possible, contribute by presenting patient cases. Additionally, we encourage participants to keep their cameras on during the sessions.
Can I obtain CME/CE from all program sessions?: All of our programs offer CME/CE to participants. Instructions on how to claim credits are provided at the end of each session.
What is the cost?: While all our sessions are offered without charge, we do ask for a commitment to actively participate in the peer learning community by sharing case presentations and contributing ideas to the group.
What technology/equipment is needed to participate?: RainbowECHO employs Zoom, a secure internet-based video conferencing software, to facilitate our sessions. Participants have the flexibility to join the video sessions using their phone, tablet, laptop, or any computer equipped with a webcam. In case of any technical issues, we provide technical support for assistance.
