Medicare Telehealth Coverage
Important Update: Changes to Medicare Telehealth Coverage
Starting October 1, 2025, Medicare may no longer pay for most telehealth visits. This change may affect your care. We're here to help you understand what this means and make any necessary adjustments to your upcoming appointments.
What's Changing?
- Medicare may only cover telehealth visits in specific circumstances after September 30, 2025.
- Most patients may need to visit in person for care that was previously available via telehealth.
How Does This Affect You?
If you have a telehealth appointment scheduled on or after October 1, 2025, you may need to:
- Reschedule as an in-person visit.
- Pay out-of-pocket for the telehealth visit.
- Check if you meet the exceptions for continued telehealth coverage.
