Dr. Sweet had to tell me bad news as a result text results and refer me to other practitioners. Dr. Sweet is an amazing practitioner and I greatly respect her expertise and understanding when to refer patients to others. She also made me very comfortable and had me laughing. Her CNP is simply phenomenal.

This provider and the entire staff actually are quite amazing. It is rare to find a provider that has such an exceptional knowledge base, truly takes the issue of getting you to your best possible health as a continuous goal ?we are all getting older & other medical factors can change quickly that as a patient we don't know another provider may know it could relate to their area of specialty). Also, it is beyond rare to find where the entire staff takes the hypocritical oath of the medical practitioner as serious as they do regardless of what their job is at the practice). Everyone does their best (and then some) to make each visit as smooth as possible or if a problem arises to assist with an appointment if reqd, etc. EVERYONE ALWAYS (I don't believe in absolutes, but they do apply here) exhausts all options when necessary. They also make sure that as a patient you know you can come to them with whatever may come up over time. I grateful to have found this medical practitioner & their practice & hope you know how rare this kind of cohesiveness and attitude at a practice is & it has made me more confident in the hospital as a whole that if a specialist is ever needed I can find a exceptional one in your system. I have NEVSR had a negative experience with the physicians that I needed & may even if it took a couple visits to find the right fit ultimately that practice had the same high standards as this one. As a patient I thank you & this practice & hope you recognize what an exceptional practice you have in them (as a physicians daughter & complicated medical history that has led to a number of specialists I have seen a lot over the years). Thank you to the practicethank you for continuing to help me regain my best health possible no matter how complicated the situation & also providing the same level of care for the friends & loved ones I have suggested you to if your specialty was needed & it could potentially be a good fit. By word of mouth I know this has spread so I will apologize if you have days where thing are just crazy busy. Even someone in your specialty at the other main hospital in the area recommended you & explained how many positive things colleagues, parents, and others they knew had said about you & your practice.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
