Patient Experience Reviews
Very good experience with Dr. O! We love him!
Dr O is and always has been outstanding! We've never had any concerns about him or his care.
Dr. O is wonderful with my teenage sons. He relates to them, talks to them, asks questions, answers their questions and treats them with respect. Plus, he takes the time to fill out all their *** forms. Thank you for the great care.
Very helpful the doctor listened attentively. The office staff was very nice and we were happy we could get a same day appointment
Had a very good experience with Scot. It was the first time I had him as a doctor for my kids and he was really great with both my son and daughter. Would go back and see him again and recommend him to other parents for a pediatrician.
Dr. O is a very caring, patient and knowledgeable doctor who listens and asks the right questions and seems genuinely concerned or interested in what my son or I have to say. He explains things to us so that we understand what he is saying and if my son doesn't understand, he words it so that he can. He's a great doctor and human being!
Doctor was great *****
We have never seen this doctor and he was excellent! It was a great appointment all around.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
