About
Raju Modi, MD, FACC, is an expert cardiologist and Director of System Ambulatory Cardiovascular Services at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. He is also a clinical assistant professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Modi earned his medical degree from the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). His postdoctoral training included an internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). He has been in practice for more than 20 years.
Dr. Modi is board certified in cardiovascular disease with additional certification in cardiac imaging modalities such as computed tomography (CT), echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He has extensive expertise in preventive cardiology and invasive cardiology, diagnosing and treating the full span of heart conditions including congenital heart disease, coronary artery disease, heart rhythm disorders, heart failure and heart valve disease.
Dr. Modi is a member of national professional organizations including the American Heart Association. He has also been named a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC).

If the UH system could clone doctors, I'd highly recommend the cloning of Dr. Modi. He has the best 'patient manners' one could ask for. He respects your opinions, looks you directly in the eye, gives you his input and listens to your input. Plus we have conversations that go beyond the clinical side, where he shows his interests and human side. I can't say enough good about the man and I'm extremely happy to have him as my cardiologist....he's tops!

This was all a very good experience. After BP etc, the medical assistant left and immediately the Dr came in. Upon completion of the visit, the Dr took me to the desk to gather paperwork and make an appointment for a follow up visit. The entire visit was less than a half hour and we covered everything. Best Dr visit ever! Staff is friendly and looks at you when they talk to you.
