I can truly never say enough about Dr Li. She truly is an amazing doctor. Getting a *** cancer diagnosis is beyond scary and terrifying. She made me feel on top of the world with positivity that I would get through This and I did. She took me apart to get this cancer out of me and I will always be grateful for that. She is one of the many doctors being the reason why I'm still here. There is not enough, thank you's, Hugs or anything that could come close to how grateful I am. I will take surviving cancer being alive to Share my story as my way of saying thank you. It's time for me to move on to a spot for the next person. I know that under Dr Li's care they will get the best care that they deserve because she has so much love and compassion for her job and patients.

Very pleased with the care shown by both Dr. Li and nurse *** explanations provided were clear, understandable to me - a person for whom this diagnosis was new-, and helpful. As was the folder with additional detailed information about co, however it was a lot to take in & having the information in printed format was very much appreciated asndition itself and how to prepare for, what to expect during and following surgery. This had been previously been provided by Dr. Li *** could refer to it as needed at different stages along the way as the surgery approached and follow along with steps as outlined in the folder info. I found it reassuring what to expect & how to deal with the follow up required.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
