My appointment was with a nurse to check BP but I was very sick and Dr J was able to me fit in. The nurse put me in a room alone and was very kind and attentive giving me water and Kleenex and checked in several times. Dr J ordered chest X-rays and antibiotics and inhaler and meds for coughing. I really appreciate that the nurse and Dr J took such good care of me.

The wait time to see Dr. J is often more than 15 minutes. The positive part of the wait is that when it's your turn to be seen Dr. J spends time with you. It is common knowledge that you may have to wait for Dr. J to get to you, so as a patient I prepare for the wait by bringing a book or cell phone that I can read or use during my visit. I appreciate the time Dr. J spends taking care of my needs.
He may not be able to see you within 15 minutes but he has always taken his time to listen I any concerns and has always addressed them and made referrals if needed , he is one of the few physicians left that really make you feel like he cares ***

My provider has been my provider for a number of years. He always listens to my concerns and discusses with me options on how to deal with them. If he sees something that needs attention he refers me to the appropriate testing or therapy to help with the situation.

This was an initial visit with the doctor to establish myself with him as my primary care physician. I could not be more pleased. I can not think of a single way this visit could be improved. I am so very pleased with everything about UH and want to let you know how appreciative I am. I am a retiree from another major hospital, therefore I can address the care and treatment from a little different perspective. Impressive is all I can say to describe UH.

This Dr is great, he always spends the time needed in appointments. So all of his patients have always had a long wait after apt times to see him. This is not an issue.
