Dr Hachwi reviewed my test results and thoroughly explained them to me. He listened to me and is a very caring Dr. I would definitely recommend him to others.

This visit was a follow up for visit to the Emergency Department for an unusual migraine. At the time I thought I might be having a stroke. The ED ruled out stroke or cardiac concerns and told me to follow up either with neurology. Dr. Hachwi had the first available appointment. He listened attentively to my symptoms and experience leading up to my ED visit and diagnosed confusional migraine.

I went to the wrong facility which meant that I was late to my appointment. Dr Hawchi still saw me anyway. I'm grateful for that

I was referred to the doctor by my neurologist to seek more specialized care. So this was my first appointment with Dr. Hachwi. I found him to be very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and insightful. He reviewed my medical history in detail, and I felt very grateful that he was overseeing my care.

My only problem is that my doctor ordered autonomic testing and when I called multiple times to schedule this at the number they provided no one answered and I even left a message and no one called me back

I simply cannot say enough positive things about my experience receiving medical care from Dr.Hawchi. He is certainly knowledgeable and incredibly kind and compassionate. His passion and drive to help patients is apparent every time I see him. Without his fine expertise, I truly believe I would still be very ill. I am most grateful.

Dr Hashwi was very thorough in his explanation and very kind. He listened to all my concerns, and answered all my questions. Also, he gave me extra time since it was my first visit.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
