Very caring doctor and staff. I have always been happy with my care.
Dr.Chen is friendly, knowledgeable, supportive and consistent. The more you get to know him, the more you see he's a good doctor. The receptionist is always friendly, genuine and she makes it a better experience to come to the doctors.

Once you get to know Dr.Chen, he is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor who is also realistic about life and it's challenges. The receptionist has always been friendly, kind and compassionate. Dr.Chen and the receptionist make a good team and contribute to a positive visit to the doctor.
This was one of the best experiences I have had in a UH facility. This was a breath of fresh air. Greeted when I walked in, every step was explained, and DR. Chen explained everything and answered questions I had with a refreshing blunt answer. He also asked if I had any other questions. He took his time. Great!

My doctor Dr. *** retired and went to him on ***. He gave me Dr. Chen's name to be my primary care doctor. This was my first visit to see him and I went and had blood work for thyroid, chloresteral and diabetes. I really like Dr. Chen.
My parents are both in their ***** and have seen Dr. Chen for a decade. Dr. Chen is always patient, thorough, and knowledgeable. His bilingual skill has really eased the communication. He would always call us the same day when any test results are available and explain in details. He would address the concerns that my parents have right away, or give referrals and follow through. Dr. Chen has taken good care of them. My parents trust him very much.

Dr. Chen has observably progressed as a physician that makes you feel like a person and not just a patient. He takes the time to ask you how your life is going and seems interested in hearing your response. He also explains your options but he does not push you into a decision. He will discuss options, give insight on his professional opinion but is also respectful about your decision. He will revisit options as situations change or progress. Dr. Chen has helped me navigate ongoing sleep/fatigue issue that I've had for about 12 years. Prior to seeing Dr.Chen, doctors never seemed to take my complaints seriously enough to navigate the issue much. Dr. Chen took me seriously and referred me for testing with a sleep specialist to assist me in seeking treatment for my sleep/fatigue issues. I have grown to have a lot of respect for Dr.Chen and value the care that I receive from him.

At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized.
