Brittany Baird Behm, DO, practices family medicine at the Chagrin Falls office of University Hospitals Bainbridge Primary Care. A native of Charleston, West Virginia, Dr. Behm attended West Virginia Wesleyan College, graduating cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2007. She then attended the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM), where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2011. Dr. Behm completed a traditional rotating internship in 2012 at LewisGale Hospital-Montgomery (Blacksburg, Virginia). She then completed a family medicine residency in 2014 at Atrium Health Union Family Practice (Charlotte, North Carolina) where she served as Chief Resident.
Prior to joining University Hospitals in 2021, Dr. Behm worked as a family physician at Atrium Health Union Family Practice for nine years. She served as Family Medicine Vice Chief on the Atrium-Union Hospital Medical Executive Committee. Her professional interests include preventative care, women’s health, orthopedics, dermatology, chronic disease management, cradle-to-the-grave care and community medicine. Among other honors and awards, Dr. Behm received NCQA recognition for delivering high quality diabetes care in 2020, NCAFP Outstanding Family Medicine Resident in 2013, and a tuition waiver award at WVSOM in 2010. Dr. Behm is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association.
Dedicated to serving the community through the provision of exceptional family medicine, Dr. Behm enjoys caring for patients of all ages. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. She also loves running, biking, skiing, traveling and West Virginia sports.

I absolutely loved this provider. She was very caring, clear, understanding and I felt heard and my questions were answered. She asked me several times if I have any other health concerns. Also the office staff offered to schedule my upcoming mammogram and they were very nice!
Dr. Behm told me to continue taking same doses of my meds,but changed them.It took several days to resolve the problem due to difficulty reaching her through office
