Patient Experience Reviews
Dr. Andrefsky and his staff are amazing and very professional. I always feel I have a good overview of my needs when I leave the office and know I can call anytime with questions or concerns. They are awesome!
Very good experience
Dr. Andrefsky was far and away the best doctor I have seen in my 75 years, and that is quite a large group. He was personable. My wife and I actually enjoyed the appointment. He oozed confidence without being arrogant at all. Everything about the appointment was PERFECT. I have already told at least 50 people about him in case they need a neurologist. 10 on a 10 scale!!
This was my first appointment with Dr. Andrefsky and it was good. *** This is a first rate doctor, in fact one of the best I have seen or dealt with at UH. He was complete, listened, had my records and opened the door if help is needed.
Dr. Andrefsky is an awesome physician. ***

Very happy and confident in the level of care that I received.
Great and informative care received.
Never have had a bad experience.
Very attentive doctor. Very knowledgeable. Explained all my test results. Plus after each test an employee from the office called me with results. Very positive visit.
Dr. Andrefsky is great, but he has a tendency to cut you off when you are speaking. He needs to slow down just a bit.
I've had symptoms often on for a number of years. I've mentioned it to other providers, but no one recommended further testing. This is the first provider that took my issue seriously & recommended further testing.
Dr. Andrefsky is very thorough. His medical assistant, ***, is the best and very thorough as well.
*** he is my 2nd sleep specialist, he is the first that understands that a CPAP won't help if RLS isn't treated 1st. ***

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.

As of December 31, 2016, John Andrefsky did not disclose any Outside Relationships with Industry.
